People use reports to communicate information, make decisions, and identify opportunities.

Reporting Services is a server-based reporting platform that provides a full range of ready-to-use tools and services to help people throughout your organization create, deploy, manage, and use reports quickly and easily. This is the heart of the reporting engine in Fusion.

With Reporting Services engine integration, you can retrieve data in a variety of formats – Print, PDF, Word, Excel, and CSV are supported by Fusion offering tight integration with Microsoft Office Suites. Published reports can be automated and delivered at specific times of day in various formats to specific users or groups of users. These subscriptions are controlled by the report manager as part of the report server.

Fusion supports both styles of reporting and each style has different purposes in our world:

  • Server-Side Reporting – This is generally faster and often uses distributed processing so the interface in Fusion returns to the user faster while the report processing is completed on the reporting server. Since nearly every customer is hosted in our cloud, this process of setting up the reporting server and the appropriate permissions are pre-configured at the server level. If you would desire a local installation for some reason, this would be a process that must be configured.
  • Client-Side reporting – This is a legacy feature, once our default it does not require any special setup or configuration. The query, formatting, default settings, etc., are all stored in the Fusion database and is all processed locally. This is often slower to render but like everything, does have value when exporting CSV files. This functionality is not recommended or supported for our Next-Gen HTML product.

In either case, we do not encrypt or hide the reports or the data in any way. As a customer, you have the ability to load the Report Builder tools and modify the reports yourself, if you so desire.

Fusion has tight integration with Microsoft Office.

When processing a report you have the option to send a formatted report PDF, the most common format, Excel or Word. You can generate unformatted or CSV files to Excel and in Excel. Depending on your browser settings, the file will either open or be downloaded to your local PC.

And, on many windows, such as the Event page, there is also an option to “Save” the report to the Fusion database automatically. You do not need to create a hierarchy on your network to store copies of documents sent to your clients.

Notice the integration with both Email and Texting. Both have been features of Fusion for years and years.

  • Customized Invoice Layouts

    Many customers like to create customized invoices; an invoice with all the details, summary invoices, specialized roll-up invoices as well as missing items invoices and notices for the clients about missing items. We even add a invoice counter to track each time an invoice has been printed.

  • Printing Letters

    Fusion gives you the ability to compose letters easily and quickly. The system-generated letter fills in letter headers, customer information, salutation and closing utilizing database information. Letter bodies are stored and can be edited on an individual basis.

  • Marketing Messages

    When printing an invoice, you can include a marketing message that changes by printing date.

  • Proposals, Quotes & Contracts

    All Synergy software products come with a powerful report generator, which allows the user to design templates that will automate your proposal and contract generating. Customer reports are easily compiled from the event information and letters, proposals, contracts, and invoices may be printed, faxed or emailed to the client.

  • Damage Waiver

    Fees can be applied to an event order using the event type flags. Using a combination of user defined settings, your company can create specific damage waiver fee structures. In additions, this fee can be taxable and/or non-taxable separate from the taxation of the order.

  • Percentage Based

    These surcharges help business endure the continually rising cost of fuel. Within Fusion they are based on a percentage of the sale that is defined by you the operator.

    They can be easily adjusted and effect only the specific you desire. They will appear as a separate line item on the invoice and taxed if required based on the jurisdictional requirements.

  • Linen Requirements

    Print a Linen Requirement report as a separate report or include the linen in the equipment report depending on your data set-up according to whether you own or rent your linen. The Linen Requirements Report is easily generated and can be emailed or faxed to your linen supplier so they can fill the order and deliver the linen to your warehouse or the event site, whichever is appropriate.

  • Packing & Mailing Labels

    Fusion has standardized on Zebra Printers for label printing. Produce Packing Labels for distributing product more effectively.

  • Missing Items

    In the rental industry it is imperative that “missing items” are communicated to your customer in a timely and organized fashion. Synergy Fusion Rental offers the tools to make sure this happens quickly and easily.

  • Warehouse Packing Lists

    There are a variety of different report types for Equipment Packing Lists. This general concept is designed to be used by warehouse personnel to check off the items needed for an event and mark them to load trucks. Each report has space to allow for notes that need to be written for special information. Dispatching management can also assign truck numbers and drivers to jobs and this information will print to these reports.

  • Detailed Invoicing

    Synergy comes with two different Invoice formats. We realize that this report needs to be customized in some cases to meet your needs. We will design an Invoice with your logo if you desire. Invoices can be designed as itemized or non-itemized in detail.

  • Menu Packing Lists

    There are a variety of different styles of this report available in the system to meet specific needs that your organization may have. Menu Packing Lists will be used by Kitchen Production to formulate production and production scheduling. Delivery Personnel can also use the report to pack the trucks. Notice that all pertinent information for both divisions is presented.

    This scheduling and reporting model also uses a complex matrix reporting approach that produces simple clear results.

    After the production schedule is created you merely select your production day and the associated departments or recipe groups. Then Fusion will generate the production reporting by department for those delivery route.
