We have released a “test” version of our existing Fusion release today in harmony with our HTML5 pre-release version internally called Blazor. The objective here is to have both the current and future releases in using our improved reporting engine. This is not retiring the RDLCs (the client-side reporting template) rather shifting the RDLCs to server-side RDLs which render images far faster than the local RDLCs. The RDLCs will still be supported and offer one feature that the RDLs cannot currently offer, however, they will just render much slower.
As part of this development process, we have also tested migrating RDLs to PowerBI’s Paginated Reports which also offer some rather nice additional functionality.
